Chanel is such a positive person to be around.  She grew up in a small town and shares my love of horses.  We met a few years ago and clicked straight away!  She is starting her cleaning company while being a full time mommy.  Keiren is a realtor here in Calgary with Remax.  He works so hard for his clients and is well respected in the industry.

The very first family photo shoot I had with Chanel and Keiren the rain came minuets into our session.  We each grabbed a kid and ran back to the cars!  We have done some family sessions since, but this was a very special occasion.  After years of romance, love, and children, Keiren finally got down on one knee.  This family travels together all summer and love BC.  You don't have to spend much time with either of these two to realize how truly happy and in love they are.  Keiren was at my studio for his updated headshots and started talking to me about their wedding plans.  You can tell how proud he is to be marrying Chanel just by watching him talk about her.  Keiren thinks the world of his bride and the way Chanel looks back at Keiren shows the amount of respect and love she has for him.  I am so inspired every time we do a session!

Chanel and I spoke before our session and she had fallen in love with the darker style of photography.  We were happy to have a cloudy day and chose Pearce Estates Park for our location.  The huge trees and little ponds made a perfect backdrop for the look she was wanting.
