Our family grew by one on March 16th, 2018.  Ryan and I didn't find out the gender of our baby and were delighted to welcome a baby boy.  We had a list of girl names but were still discussing boy names while filling out the paperwork at the hospital.  We named him Maddux, after my husbands favourite pitcher, Greg Maddux.  His middle name is Roland, for Ryan's dad.

My friends put together a fantastic morning to celebrate Maddux.  The decor beautifully incorporated some of our family's favourite things; brunch, the outdoors and baseball.  My Grandma couldn't make the trip from Edmonton but made adorable favours (handmade paper babies attached to chocolate bars) and sent even more gifts.  This is one spoiled child!

A huge thank you to my amazingly talented friend Andrea for hosting, and everyone who brought food and added to the day by coming to meet Maddy.  I have so many wonderful people in my life, many have made time to come visit outside this day who I love so much.

I am so grateful to have had the last month to spend with my family.  That being said I am really looking forward to my first wedding of the year next month!
