Adam and Cheryl met in Grand Prairie almost two years ago.  Adam had decided to just give up on finding love, not finding the one he wanted to spend his time with.  Then came Cheryl.  The two hit it off right away and were living together within the year.  The couple both lost their jobs during the recession and decided it was a great time to take the trip of a lifetime to Mexico.  They drove and explored for months before deciding to come back to reality.  They chose Calgary to start their new life together.  Adam took a job in the oil and gas industry downtown and Cheryl found a position as a legal assistant in the building across from Adam.  

Last year at Thanksgiving while having dinner with Cheryl's family, Adam was telling the family what he was grateful for.  Cheryl was completely shocked when he said, 'And I would be even more thankful if Cheryl would agree to be my wife'.  The two are getting married in April in the Dominican.
