Lyndsay and Cliff are both from the East Coast. They ensured their nautical theme would be seen in the details of their wedding.
The day started at 6am at Snips Hair Design. Lyndsay, her mom and bridesmaids spent the morning in hair and make up before going to Lyndsay's house to get dressed. Lyndsay had her dream gown specially made by a lady named Gala, she works with Olga's Fabric Lane in Calgary. The dress was stunning and fit Lyndsay like a glove.
We drove two minuets down to road and arrived at the venue, Carstairs Community Center. Lyndsay had it decorated in blue and green. A group of friendly smiles awaited the beautiful bride. Nerves got the best of her and she just had to see Cliff. The hug from her future husband was all she needed to get the show on the road. Lyndsay wasn't the only one who was shy, their 3 year old son, Kashe, was just as nervous as his mommy! He was in his Grandmas arms down the aisle. The bride and groom locked eyes as she walked down the aisle. Lyndsay's dad gave Cliff a big hug as he gave him his daughters hand. The ceremony was preformed beautifully and we did family pictures in the park across the road.
The bridal party then went over to Carstairs Golf Club, where the owners allowed us use of the course for pictures. Staff even brought us all beers to cool off from the extremely hot day!
While we were off taking pictures, the community center had been transformed. Dark lighting and bright colours made the setting breathtaking. The bartenders forgot to come--so without skipping a beat Lyndsay started slicing up lemons to be ready for her guests. The bartenders did eventually get there so the newlyweds could enjoy the rest of the night.
I had a blast with Lyndsay, Cliff, Kashe and all the wedding guests. I hope to see everyone again very soon!
