My friend Alison was excited to gift her sister Sarah an engagement session. I hadn't met Sarah before today and had a blast with her and her husband to be, David.
We met this morning at 9:00 at one of my favorite locations, Big Hill Springs Provincial Park. It was so quiet, we had the whole area to ourselves. Sarah and David met a few years ago and love their lives with their 3 (yes, 3) dogs. After a year and a half of 'hinting', Sarah had given up trying to guess when David was going to pop the question. The two love birds were swimming at a lake one morning and David decided this was the day. He had the ring he had designed in his bag and says he was anxious the entire swim, always looking back to ensure it was still there! Sarah had no idea what was David was planning. She was so relaxed and blissfully happy, she looked at him and said, 'I just love our life'. He grabbed the ring, got down on one knee and asked Sarah to be his wife.
David and Sarah made this shoot so easy for me. They brought their smallest puppy, Winkey, along for the fun. David loves cycling and brought along his full outfit. We used the helmet to set the gorgeous ring on.
Congratulations to the bride and groom to be!
