I was at the Bliss Bridal fair two years ago when a mother of a bride approached me. Her daughter was engaged and was at the show, but she was working at her own booth for Moores. Her mom relayed information back and forth which led to a coffee date between Tricia and I. I had another wedding booked the same day so my associate Joelene Mills joined us.
As long as a bride likes the style of images the photographer presents, the main key to look for is personality. As photographers, we are with our brides more than anyone on that day. Joelene was the photographer at my own wedding and I wasn't the least bit surprised when the two of them hit it off. Both Joelene and I met Tricia and Danny for their winter engagement session and the four of us had a few more dates to discuss details for the big day.
Tricia was a dream bride to work with. She planned an intimate, elegant wedding at Elk View Lodge in Fernie, BC. Danny is from England, so the couple wanted to make everyone to enjoy their vacation as well as the wedding. Games, drinks (in a canoe) and other entertainment were at the Lodge for the guests. Tricia was very impressed with the lodge as well as the decorator and decor provided by Lavish Linen.
The impressive bouquets were by The Green Petal and were simply breathtaking. All the details of this wedding complimented the love Danny and Tricia have for one another. These two have a blast together, their smiles and laughter is contagious.
Thank you to our amazing bride and groom for allowing us to capture one of the most important days of your life!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Major!
